Texas Holy Rock???

someone just posted this question in the reef discussion forum. I think all the answers that came back said yes. The said it has the same make up basically as base rock. hth

Texas holy rock is a very dense limestone rock that is used mostly for cichlid tanks. It is safe for saltwater, but not a good choice for it. It doesn't have the same biological properties as normal live rock. It is too dense and heavy, and will add no biological filtration to your tank at all.

LOL, I hear ya. I met a guy in a bar in Boston one time that thought we still lived in houses with dirt floors and rode horses in Oklahoma lol.

He got real interested when i told him about my wife being killed in the OKC bombing. I told him about her beautiful blew eyes, how one blew this way and one blew that way lol. That was just a few minutes before being asked to leave the bar ROFL.

(disclaimer: wife was not killed in bombing. She still torments me me daily lol.)

I used it for my big tank when I was in texas......I still have some of it, though it's all purple.......it kinda sticks out against the other more pourous rock
