Some people can just never be satisfied...Hey JDL, you can send me YOUR coupon every month...I'm sure I'll find something to use it on!
Even if I don't spend ANY money at any LFS, and drove 45 miles to get there, just on the hopes to see something new or different, it was still worth the trip.

I was there yesterday. Used the coupon for salt. Still spent about $100 with everything. I'll be going back on Tuesday next week to get a 40 gallon breeder. Sadly no coupon works for tanks. But it will on a mag pump...

I dont remember *****ing about being satisfied. All i am saying is i would goto the store to buy a certain item i always need and usually get other things because of the coupon. Now I wont just go there for salt.

There have been plenty of my coupons that went in the trash. Plenty that bought salt, and plenty that bought other things.

However if you love driving 45 miles great. Dont take constructive criticism about a store change in policy as anything other then constructive criticism. They wont go out of business and I wont be deprived of salt.

How did you get out of there only spending $100? I was there last night and was doing fine, until I had to get the furry animals their Frontline Plus. When I last comparison shopped, TFP had the lowest prices, even compared to the two catalogs I purchase from that have LOW prices. Still, the Frontline added at least $250 to our bill.... And I'll be at the store Saturday for the swap.

Thankfully I only have 2 salt tanks running right now. No furries running around. I picked up some snails and hermits for both tanks. Buy 12 of each and get a discount on them. Walked out with 48 critters and the salt. It does help though that I went in during my lunch break. I had to leave.
