Just moved it home from Jeff's.... wow this thing was heavy. I think 215 lbs. I have no idea how some of those big tank guys move theirs. Anways, we got it sitting on the stand at its temporary home since I won't be moving out of here for another 20 days. Here's some pics for now...

yup, its the stand and canopy that KC built, we just stained it ebony with a polyurethane finish. The tank is a 120 gallon measuring 48x24x24 and we're planning on it being sps dominant and some LPS since my girlfriend loves LPS.

Awesome! And you were thinking the other day that your tank was never going to be delivered!

haha, seriously... but i was talking to Rich about it and when it comes to reefing... you just can't wait for some stuff haha. Like if the plumbing is off, you gotta go to Home Depot to fix it ya know. I think Jeff's was just playing with my emotions.

Thanks everyone. I was thinking of starting a photo progression of it once I move out of this place and get everything ready to go.

Which Jeff's did you see the tank at? The one in costa mesa right? It was first at Gardena, then dropped off in Costa Mesa and I picked it up from there which is only 10 min from my house.

I think also everyone loves the wavy motion. But when it comes to mushrooms, ricordia and many of the LPS corals, you can get a wide variety of colors -- colors that show up even if you aren't running gobs of blue light. There are some colorful SPS out there, but for most of them you don't get a large area of intense color, and the good ones are major $$$.

SeaCrop had some amazing colors and patterns of rhodactis shrooms yesterday. I didn't see people snapping them up, which I thought was strange. Too bad they don't belong in my new tank config. They will go for major amounts of cash at whatever store they end up in.
