Thai Reef Setup - Questions

Hi all,

I live in Thailand and just ordered a custom made 600 Litre tank with 200 Litre Sump. (L: 200cm x W: 50cm x H: 60cm). Will get the tank and stand in about 2 weeks.

My plan is to setup a reef environment only from coral and fish that can be found here in Thailand, mainly because it is the cheapest way in regards of fish and coral.

Until I get my tank, I am now looking at skimmers, lights and chillers. I will unfourtunatly need the chiller, because I have other tanks (freshwater) and have problems keeping them under 32 degrees because of the warm weather here.

Regarding skimmer, I have been recommended to use a Cove skimmer. I know it is kind of expensive, but I guess that will be worth it.

I was wondering if anyone here could recommend me what lights would be good for a tank like mine, but also if you know of any chillers that are affordable for a tank of my size?

Regarding lights I would prefer something that can be programmed to sunrise/sunset and moonlight with a built in Timer. I know this is not the cheapest solution, but is there anything out there, where the price is not too crazy? I have no ideas about chillers, only that they are not cheap. But is there a specific brand, that you could recommend?

Thanks a lot for your help and advice.

i use Hailea HS-90a for my 150g tank and i think many reefer from this part of the world use this brand. it comes from china so it's not very expensive. i saw it in thailand as well and the price was around baht 16,000 if i remember correctly.

as for the led lighting, Radion price are almost doubled in Thailand. the prices of Maxspect, Zetlight, Aquasanrise, etc are ok. you should go to Chatuchak market and check them out. i think most led fixtures including chinese brands are programmable these days. you would need 3 fixtures for your 6.5 foot tank though.
