for those wondering about their rate increases...
the explanation was high natural gas costs. IF costs associated with natural gas...decline to an amount lower than what we forecast this year, that reduction would be reflected in future customer rates.
additionally, the enclosed letter states that there appears to be no indication of another power plant being constructed...just nessacary improvements to existing infrastructure.
also, note the 100% over baseline, deemed heavy usage customers, will see a significant increase in their monthly bill.
thus, my take on the whole thing is: BUCK UP FOR A HIGHER BILL!!!
i am so THANKFUL that i am having a solar system installed and be only partially at the will of edison...the lower part of the tier of edison anyway!
