I attended my first meeting tonight and was impressed.I fully enjoyed the speaker tonight,yes I was the one asking all of the questions,and learned a lot.I will definatley be using her forum on marinedepot.com to answer my many questions I have for my predatory fish.I must of had beginners luck because I was the first raffle number drawn,scored a koralia 3 ,thanks to who ever donated that!But pete I think he had the raffle rigged he must have won 4 or more things LOL.I wiil be at all of the future meetings I can attend,and look foreward to meeting more of you.Thanks again,Chris

Our flight was canceled and there were no open flghts for about 36 hours, which effectively canceled our trip for us.

I was so bummed - ok, ok royally ****ed, about the flight issue cancelling our dive trip, I left town on whim and did NOTHING fish related, lest I be reminded where I should have been this weekend.

To make matters worse, much of the expenses for the cancelled trip are non-refundable - including airfare.

Oh, and stocks just took a major dive today effectively wiping a couple of my investments - woo hoo, aren't I ever the black cloud today?

No one can know the disappointment of not going to FL. but for what ever reason you were not meant to go. Keep a positive outlook... there will be other opportunities. It is only money you lost, you still have your health, and your loved ones, and your MARS family And... the stock market will bounce back, in a couple days or weeks, but it will. Just think positive.

Thank you all for enduring my rants - in re-reading I realized it was out if character and not well placed. Thank you though for your support.

As for February - Oooo... you will want to come to this one. A marquee speaker, whats sure to be a great raffle, good folks, and decent food. More to follow....
