I just wanted to thank all of you who came up to the PBMAS frag swap yesterday...I had such a blast meeting and chatting with you. You really gave us a great turnout...my poor lil' a/c couldn't keep up with all of the people in the house (and I even cranked it down to 70 before everyone got there!)
I especially want to thank those of you who hooked me up with some breathtaking frags...they are all doing quite well.
I hope all of you who came had a good time...I sure did! So did my dogs, who are still passed out from all of the fun they had. I hope they weren't a bother to anyone, especially Captain (the big red rhodesian ridgeback), who may be huge but is still very much a puppy (he's only 8 months old and already pushing 80 pounds!)
I also would like to give a HUGE thanks to Rogger, who sold me one of the most beautiful fish I have ever seen! Rogger, the majestic angel is doing very well. (S)he has settled in quite nicely and has been coming up to check out her new "mamma"...(s)he has just stolen my heart! I'm glad for your confidence in me, I know how much you loved this fish and I will absolutely give her a great new home. I take my fish husbandry very seriously (Yes, I am one of those people who cries when I lose a fish!) and it's very flattering to gain the confidence of another conscientious and very experienced reefer. I really enjoyed meeting you and chatting with you...I look forward to running in to you at future meetings.
Mike (Zurcsreef)...you were quite a hit! Everyone was so impressed with your frags, and the ones you gave me are simply gorgeous! I'm so glad you were able to make it, and I wanted to thank you for all of the great frags you brought. I do wish I could have gotten the chance to chat with you, but it got pretty busy for me, between the acclimating and keeping things going.
I'd also like to say that I was VERY impressed with everyone I spoke with from FMAS...you are an outstanding group of people, and I'm glad to have had the chance to speak with many of you. Between the frag swap yesterday and the Julian Sprung meeting, I've been very impressed with your club and I look forward to more contact with all of you in the future.
Okay, enough of the mushy-gushy post...I just really wanted to say thanks, and I hope it was worth the trip for you!
