I wanted to thank the people that maintane R.C. and those that have helped answer some of my questions.

Also if not for the vast amounts of information on this site I would have never started this project.

I have read a few books so far and I still find the first hand knowledge (successes and failures)on this site to be far more useful as a research tool for a newbie like myself.

Here is a couple pics of were I am at.
46g Bow front
Current t5 ho lighting x4
Octopus 150 needle wheel.
Sump is 35g mounted in the basement.

I added 40pounds of live rock last weekend and will be purchasing more this weekend not happy with the way it looks , but its a start.
It seemed like a lot of rock in the store LOL.

I have feather dusters on the rock already and the water parameters are right on the money.
My first algae bloom has started as well.

Thanks again for everyones help , hopefully it will look half as nice as some of the tanks I marvel at on this site.

T, looks like a great start, congrats  A little more rock can't hurt but leave room for coral growth. After you've added the rock remember go slow. :D

Now that I am happy with my rock work should I start running a full light schedule?

The books I have read say that I should but I have also read on forums that it is not needed.

Any thoughts?

Thanks T Kish
