I'm paranoid...
I left the acrylic cover off..but I have a single strength piece of glass over the tank for now...due to the fact that the return from my fuge (gravity fed) makes too many bubbles...I would hate to get a thick nasty salt crust on it. I will remove it as soon as I get my plumbing fixed. I love the fixture. It is so bright! I ran it for a while w/ just the actinics because I was afraid of cooking my tank. I am slowly aclimating everyone to the increased (understatement) lighting. Until I got this fixture I have never had the correct spectrum. I am finally happy with the look of that tank. Thanks.
