She picked out a Sustainable Aquatic Gold Flake... Its pretty nice... But we have pairs in all of our tanks... She wants a nano for next to the bed now... I'm still trying to decide what to do...

The fish are surely a major part of our lives, but as my father is keen to remind me, it is a business (except for that corner downstairs with all of our pets). Now I have to find a new hobby, preferably one that doesn't require a lot of time...

thos sharks are sweet..they are some fatties.. are they starting to act like they want to breed.. if they do breed are you going to be the first to aquaculture them in the u.s.

Thanks Dave, they are getting big; they're always fat after eating dinner. The male has shown some signs of wanting to mate with the females, but I don't know if any of them are really mature yet. It's still a waiting game of keeping them fat & healthy until they mature and produce eggs....and then we'll have to wait until they produce fertile eggs...

They've been bred in captivity a few times, but they are a "good" aquarium species as far as sharks go, so I think there will be a market for them if we have any success with breeding. They have definitely grown a lot since we got them, so we'll just have to be patient I guess.
