The only thing that really doesn't stop growing no matter what in my tank!
Thanks for the kind words... He started as pretty much a Y shaped branch with about 3-5 heads, here he was back around August of 2011:

holy crap that thing is big! 4 years though, thats some time!
First of all, your Frogspawn coral looks spectacular and secondly, my three Frogspawn corals were very healthy and growing close to the size of yours up to about 4 months ago. Once I added my BRS GFO reactor, my Frogspawn coral are slowly receding and dying. At first, I thought my LED lighting was too intense, which I lowered the intensity of my white LED's, which made no difference. As for my calcium and magnesium levels, my calicum is at 450 and my magnesium is at 1450.
After racking my brain of what's possibly causing my Frogspawns to slowly die off, I'm now thinking my GFO reactor is probably the main culprit.
As for filtering my 90 gallon reef system, I have the NYOS Quantum 160 skimmer, which is placed inside my Trigger Systems Emerald 34 sump. Inside my refugeim section, I have a healthy amount of Cheato that is about the size of a basketball.
At this point, I'm figuring my GFO reactor is the number one suspect to my Frogspawn health issues and secondly, I'm beginning to also think that my water is just to clean to support my Frogspawn corals. As of last night, I turned off my GFO reactor, and I'll see if that makes a positive difference. I'm also wondering if the Frogspawn corals do better in turbid water conditions, rather in pristine water conditions?
