asnatlas on paper it looks good but it's hard to tell where your cut-outs in the top will be. Remember you don't want to heat up acrylic- it will crack if the cold water splashes on the hot acrylic, so you can't place a halide to close to the top over a brace. I have one halide directly over the acrylic but I keep it slightly elevated and periodically check to make sure it doesn't get to hot. Also will the actinics in the very front of the tank actually be over any corals? If not you will loose that flourescing quality we all look for out of actinics. At four foot wide you could also run your bulbs front to back instead of length wise. My bulbs are actually ran front to back although my tank is 5 foot wide. I dont' worry about the front 12" as I try to keep it free from corals anyway. Just trying to keep you thinking.
