The Break up....?

So recently one of my Ocellairs pairs began acting like they were going to spawn..cleaning rock blah blah blah....and the past few days they have been acting really weird and at first I thought it may have been their personalities and they just had some odd bredding behavior. However throughout the course of the day things have changed. The feale got very agressive and they started doing the whole agression/submission dance and sometimes the male charges the female, they look like they are arguing, generally just uneasy with each other and tonight the male is not sleeping in the tile house with the female.

They have been a proven breeding pair together for more than four years. Are they breaking up, fighting over spawning place or what?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated thanx

Any advice? Does this sound like pre spawning or fighting?

shes probally just reaccerting her dominance over the male....unless shes tearing him to shreds.
