Methylene blue

Dylox

This covers the things that the super reef-safe, all parasite cure does not.

Just wondering, what do you use Baytril for? Ive only ever used it on Small animals. Ive never heard of using it in an aquarium

Baytril - Intramuscular injection. Prophylactic use with capture or for skin ulcers that can develop on elasmobranches. It provides good coverage for vibrio.

Not the full list, but I've got half of em! Nice to see the literature in there as well.

Great answer! ROTFLMAO

I'd be so bold as to suggest adding a macrolide antibiotic like erythromycin to shotgun at dropsy or popeye if they happen. I've been successful in turning both diseases around exclusively with erythromycin (where doxy, tmp sulfa, and kanamycin didn't work)

Also do you have an aminoglycoside? Kanamycin/gentamycin/amikacin are my favorites and my go to drugs when i have an external bacterial infection.

Good points. I typically go first to the fluoroquinolone, cipro for bath or Baytril IM if I worry about a serious infection. Good gram pos and neg coverage including vibrio.
