I wasn't able to download the whole thing because of my landline (Broadband not available). Does it say anything about energy use/ conservation?

Their comparison showed their 250 W bulb with a conventional 400 W bulb. Both put out the same lumens. Their bulb covered the sun's spectrum because of the plasma technology. And, while the internal temperature of the fixture is very high, the overall heat output is much less.

Sounds interesting and promising? It would be great if it uses less hood space as well. Did it mention anything about projected cost?

Wow! Awesome light and so small. It would be nice to see a small pendent the size of a quarter lighting the reef.
