The green hairy mushroom saga

So, I just upgraded from a 5 gal hex tank to a standard 10 gal.
In "the move" my green hairy mushroom was stuck to two rocks that were side by side. When I pulled the rocks apart... it ripped in half.
In the new tank I put the rocks on separate sides of the tank. So, far, it looks like I might have 2 healthy mushrooms soon. So, should I worry? Should I do anything special to make sure they both survive?
Just would like some tips.
Furthermore, my Red (chili pepper colored) mushroom is on 2 rocks too. Should I pull them apart and do the same to it?
Afterall, that mushroom is gorgeous and I dunno if I wanna hurt it.
If I rip that one, do you think it would heal up?
Should I see if the green hairy makes it first b4 I start experimenting on my FAVORITE mushroom?

I don't think I can get a razor blade between the rocks... maybe I can...
I'll try it this weekend.
The torn one is doing great.
I'm moving one of the sections to my 2 gal. this weekend.

The one that was torn should be fine. If you are going to seperate the other one I would try to cut it some how, if you can. You shouldn't have a problem with spliting the other though. Good luck with your decision.
