The new 72

As some of you know I am in the process of replacing my old 72 BF with a new tank of the same size, the main differences being that the new one is drilled for an overflow, no scratches and I have foamed the background, as well as being able to implement a sump and new, much larger protein skimmer. I figured I should throw up some pictures of the current progress...

The actual tank swap is planned for next weekend, I will also be building a custom screen lid to keep fish in since I like an open top system.
Please feel free to comment, I always like suggestions.

Dude, that is one good looking setup, the Octopus should be a nice easy skimmer to deal with. John has the 200 and it pulls out some nice skimmate from his 90 gallon tank. I'm excited to see the progress pics and how your coral are going to do when they get in their new home.

Well I know I have promised updated pictures and I swear we will get them up, however I do have another update to keep you all drooling. We have finished plumbing a 20L into our system as a dedicated frag tank. Our return pump is teed off so that 2/3 goes to the Display Tank and 1/3 goes to the Frag Tank. The drain from the frag tank then drains back into the 20 tall sump under the Display tank. Its lit by a 2*24watt t5-HO light. What this means is that our total system is now apx 107 gallons between the 72, 20 tall(15 gallon's filled) and the 20L frag tank. This also means I will probably be stepping up my fragging operations now that I have a place to store them :-D
