Been working on getting this up and going for a little while now. I am upgrading from a 46G Bowfront.

Now I have a a 180G with about 250 for the total system,
No corals or anything as I want to make sure the tank does not cycle. I should be fine though

These are my first tests after 3 days of up and running
Salinity: .023
DKH: 9
Calcium: 380
Ammonia: 0
Phosphate: .025
PH 8.4
Temp 80.8
Tests done at 10PM with the light on starting at 11am.
The picture show the tank out of level but that has been fixed.
Let me know what you think :D

Do you plan on keeping both tanks up?
Looks like you can use the extra space. Good luck
No, I have a newer to the hobby person that I am going to help out by selling my 46 to them. I got everything switched over to the new tank tonight, Camera has a dead battery so pics should come tomorrow.

great looking setup, is that a 55 glass for your sump?

A 60 but yes. I like it but they could have made the baffles a little lower. I like the setup though.

I did a very bad job doing a build thread. Alot happened putting this together. Broken tank, Twice flooding the garage and once the family room. Things not fitting. Numerous trips to home depot. Some very strong words from the wife on not planning. How to you plan for a tank breaking or a RO/DI unit malfuntioning? Short of wrapping the house in plastic, I dont think you can.
