Meet Seagar(Pronounced Seger). Anyone have an idea why I am calling him that? ;-)</CENTER>

Lol. No, but on the right track. I didn't realize till now that the thread was titled "newesy" should have been newest. I need to stop posting when I'm about to fall asleep.

For the most part, I don't think so. As Anthony Calfo said in his article <A HREF="http://www.reefland.com/rho/0505/cover4.php">here</A>"I lump 'compatibility' in with 'feeding' coverage here".

They are fed small fish and shrimp, so if you like to keep them in your reef tank I would say no. Also anything that bites at corals or even constantly nips at rock probably won't do well with it either. I once asked about keeping my French Angel with one, but being reminded that they eat sponges in the wild and these fish often attempt to imitate sponges I decided against trying that one.

Mine will be in a species tank. Working on setting up a 30g with lots of LR. It is currently in quarantine in my 20 high. I will probably try some sponge in with it and may place some small coral in the tank such as zoos, but need to research more before I decide that's safe.

Just for the record I think that you picked that up from Fraggle Reef not Fraggle Rock.

I know a lot of things in my tank were from there before the move.

"Dance your cares away,
Worry's for another day.
Let the music play,
Down at Fraggle Rock."

Sorry I think I still have the theme song stuck in my head from when I watched the show religiously at the age of 5, lol.

Could I do zoos, pulsing xenia, and maybe some other softies with two 65w PC bulbs in a 36" AGA fixture over the 30?

possibly? but its close. i'm pretty sure the zoo and schrooms will do fine. but xenia need some good VHO light. although the 30 is shallow, the PC's just might support them, but not grow very fast. my Pom Pom xenias are just under the water surface under my 4 VHO's. and doing fine. i moved a frag of xenia to my 29 with 3 T-5"s over it and they are lookin rather pueny .

I gave up on that idea. I'm hoping to move to T5s in the near future. I had made another thread about it <A HREF="http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1072588">here</A>.

I've been thinking about it all night and all most called you to see if I could come over and look at it. Fact is right now I'm broke and I don't know if things will be better by the time your ready to sell. We will see.
