The novireef: 230G first timer reef tank build

6 weeks have passed since the last update so it's well overdue 
In between other tasks related to our renovations I've managed to finish the stand for the sump and QT/frag/refugium tank. I've included a picture of the stand and both tanks in place in our storage room.
I've also ordered and received all bits for the plumbing which is up next. I've already chiseled both holes in the wall that will accomodate 5x 50mm pvc and the electric cabling. I hope to address the first part of the plumbing in the next two weeks. This first part will consist of the drainage from MD to sump, return from sump to QT/frag/refugium and drainage from QT/frag/refugium to MD. The surge device, 2x fluidised bed filter, ATS and wet skimmate waterchange will be part 2, 3, 4, 5, ... 99 :rolleye1:
Once part 1 of the plumbing is done, I'll finally be able to put some water in the tanks. Guess it's time to order a RODI unit...
On another note, all the gear for the LED fixtures has arrived as well so that'll be a separate project that I'll be adressing soon as well.
I'll be sure to put up an update as soon as something is worth mentioning
