The Official Group RO/DI Group Buy

c_stowers: your inbox is full, man. :) Congrats on the new family addition, though.

I'll hopefully see most of you tomorrow at 6!

Ok, guys... UPS has lost a box. I went to pick them up and there were only 5 of 6. Soooo... I'm going to go over there and see if I can get them to find the 6th one. I thought there were 6 when I was there, but I wasn't positive. The problem is that its the box with all of the individual items in it. I've only got the units with me.

Who all is planning on meeting me there, anyway? streetracinsrt is the only one I know of for sure since c_stowers had PMed me saying he wasn't going to be able to make it.

Sorry guys and gals!

Brandon

Ok, I've got them and I guess I'll just go ahead and go to the critter just to be safe. I have no idea who is coming and who is not, but we'll see I suppose!

Brandon

Wellp, streetracinsrt met me there. Some of you have already made contact with me to make arrangements. The rest of ya I will PM. :)

The good news is that the 4 Typhoon IIIs we ordered have a FREE pressure gauge on them! We will need to thank Don for that for sure. I thought that rocked because I was thinking about getting one, anyway. :D

If you have any questions or would like to make arrangements to get your order, please let me know.

Awesome, Brandon!

To all of you new RO/DI owners, make sure you run the RO only for the first several gallons and discard that water. Then hook up the DI. The RO membrane has some preservative on it, and it takes a few gallons to wash it out. You'll waste a bit of your DI capacity if you run the initial few gallons through the whole deal. That goes for you too, Angela, when you hook up your new membrane :)

brandon..thanks for getting everything together.....i got home and read the whole manual cause i had no clue what i was doing.....when got ready to do the install, guess what i found?!?!?!?.....a broken outlet!!!!.....grrr.......but luckly home depot had the part......so everything is up and running...water test out at 0ppm....woo hoo!

Awesome, John! I had a similar problem... the little plastic insert on the "push in" connectors was missing... but I am not using the saddle valve, so I just took the little insert out of it and put it in the missing one. :D

I did the same thing when I got mine... I read through the manual! :) Glad you're enjoying it!

Replied, dishray.

Hi all!

Thanks for another great group order. I think all but two are just about squared away. :)

For future reference (specifically if you need service ;) ), our order number is in my name (Brandon Buell) and our invoice number is O8340.

Just thought I'd share as one has already needed the info and this makes it easy. :)
