"The only one for me" is what i thought when i went in to the pet store 8 months ago and found a half inch yellow misbared Amphiprion Ocellaris clownfish that looked at me and said "buy me".I being the clownfish lover that I am could not resist to buy the little guy since he be the only one in the tank with many larger clowns pestering the crap out of him.I brought him home and acclimated him for 2 hours making sure that the tank be fit for him and that he be well used to the new tank water. He lived in the small 10 gallon tank for 5 months of his happy little clownfish life.I then brought home a new 8 gallon bio cube and let it cycle for a week because I added live sand to the tank and also FULLY CURED live rock to the tank.I tested the water every day till I thought that the water was just right.I then put the now 1 1/2 inch clownfish in his new home.He lived alone for 2 months in the 8 gallon tank.I then ordered a other clownfish hopeing that they would pair up.When the clownfish arived I didnt think that she would be as big as she was.So i done a 2 hour acclimation making sure that every thing was going to be okay for his new "girl friend".They lived happily for 4 days.I looked into the tank today to find that the clownfish was chased into the back chamber of the tank.He would of probobly lived if he didnt get his gill stuck into the crate in the back chamber.Befor I found him dead I knew that the new clownfish was "beating thecrap out of him" so to say.So I then went out side to help the stray dog with a broken leg.Once I came back in the house I decided that this would be a good time to set up the QT tank.I had the tank setup and then went to get the clownfish out of his small 8 gallon tank.I could not find him so I looked and looked and I never found him.I thought that I would look in the back chambers of the tank to see if he was back there.I didnt see him but I then noticed a "Little Yellow" fin fragment.I knew that the worst was on its way.I fliped the filter pad up to find my "NEMO" tankeing his last gulps of water that he would last take. That was the end of "NEMO".
