The Ozonizer Information.

Everyone is talking about Ozonizers and askinf many questions like what it is, if it's recommended, if it harm usefull bacteria etc.

So guys, can everyone put all the usefull information there is about these ozonizers so everyone saves this thread because here would find all they need to know about ozonizers !

Here are my few questions that I wish to know about Ozonizers:

1/ What is exactly an Ozonizer and where do you connec it?

2/ It is true that if you have Ozonizer you don't need anymore the use of carbon and floss because the ozone by itself it will clear the yellowish/green stuff and floating tiny detritus ?

3/ Does it do any harm to the good Bacteria ?

4/ What brands do you reccomend ?

What is the difference between an Ozonizer and UV ?

The short answer is Ozone clarifys water. UV sterilizers kill or render harmless microorganisms that can cloud water or attach to your fish causing disease.
