Now I start a new project! I want a build a reef room in my apartment.

The ReefrooM will consist of three aquariums

1st will be a central tank, visible from all four sides 51x40x21h (130x100x53h) rimless with opti-white glass

2nd is frag tank 74x20x12h

3rd is fish only 120x20x20h

1st and 2nd will be a one system

Sorry for my English :)

fantastic looking tank!

Thanks!

My idea is that the whole reef room be in the white color. So I painted the walls and floor in white, in the next few days I'll paint the doors and windows. On the floor I use a white gloss epoxy.

Igor,

I like your thinking. White color and reef tanks look well together. Looking forward to see your project completed. Keep us updated.

Also one question: I've seen epoxy floors before, but have never seen any info on how they are installed. Could you elaborate a little on this?

Regards,
Dainius

Thanks, I think that's the beautiful combination :inlove:

I'm not expert to explain about the epoxy, but I watched how they do masters. It is in liquid form, it adds another component and then poured on the floor. Floor must be flat and extremely well prepared before applying epoxy. When the epoxy is applied then it goes with some needle rollers to remove air bubbles, drying for 24 hours.

Lookin forward to following your build. Good Luck!

Thank you!

First I had to improvise a wide table for gluing aquarium. :lmao: I bought a glass for the central tank, 12mm optical white glass, (which is very hard to find in Serbia) and double 10mm flot goes to the bottom

I think it is the big difference in transparency between opti white and regular flot glass

This some pictures 12mm opti vs 10mm flot

Here's one picture after gluing

I decided for transparent silicone because it fits much better with white and reef combination than black

I did not want to make any overflow box because I want to see every corner of the aquarium
