The rumbling RBTA

Hey all, Ok here is a old time question.
My dang RTA is moving everyday around my tank and am looking for a way to make it stop. I know everyone says, "They will just go where they want to go." But is there really no hope to try and place a RBTA??? Any ideas/ resolutions would be great
thanks

I placed mine with a soft flow going directly over it, and it stayed put. You can try feeding it to let it know it's a good spot for food in the future.

Make sure you have a deep crevice in your rock work that it can plant it's foot. I placed mine on one side of my tank and within a day it had marched itself to the other side of the tank and planted it's foot in a deep crevice on the other side. It hasn't moved in 10 months.

"Usually" if you find a crevice big enough for its foot combined with a gentle current, they will stay where you put them. At least it has worked pretty well for me.

what's worked for me is either: a deep crevice in the rock, or i create a crevice between several rocks, and the 'nem usually adjusts itself between these rocks eventually.

What kind of lighting do you have? Your RBTA could be seeking out more light.

Anytime an anemone is on the move, something is amiss. Whether it is too much water velocity or too little, not enough or too much light, something in the water or a predator. Which one of these/those (maybe more than one) do you think is causing/caused your RBTA to move?
