Here is what I got, for the last few months every other week I have been putting 4/5 snails in my tank and they don't last much more then a few days. i have had trouble with anemones they make it about a week or two and the peppermint/cleaner shrimp the same. I have no Idea what to look for or change to get this guys to live in this tank. The tank is a 90g with 40g ref sump. fish are great, about 15 hermit crabs, pencil tip and decorator crab that are fine. any ideas?

What are your acclimation techniques? Im betting thats your issue since the list of animals you are having trouble with all tend to be very sensitive and need long slow acclimation processes.

As far as the snails, I don't think its acclimation because they are typically pretty hardy and I don't acclimate them I just float the bag for temp and drop them in and don't lose any. What is your lighting like, that could be the issue with a nem perhaps. Do you have any fish that like shrimp? A lot of different factors for the different critters.

Like reefreal said, what species is it? The name escapes me at the moment but there is a common snail sold that is a cold water species and wouldn't last too long at a temp of 78F.

May I add the idea that you lost an anemone and if they are aloud to melt in the system they have a potental of "nuking" a tank.
