Any suggestions- add on's etc.

One add on I will need is a power head. Any suggestions on which one, I was thinking of going w/ a tunzee.

That fluctuation is a bit more than what you would want. Try to keep it no more than about 3 degrees at a time by adding a heater. If you don't mind the price of the Tunze, it is definitely one of the best ways to go--maybe a 6060 with a controller.

I already have a heater in there. I am thinking that my lighting is heating up the water throughout the day. I would like to get the tunzee w/ the dual controller. They are nice units and I can hide em in a rock.

I have 2 Tunze 6000's in my tank with the single controller with branch adapter and photocell for night. I use the pulse setting on the controller and really like the effect. Love them, love them! Streams are quiet with a soft broad stream. I purchased the magnetic holders and really like them (less obtrusive IMO). They are a bit pricey but I've done this before and know that I would be disappointed if I bought lesser. I'd end up buying them later anyway.
