So, it's been a while since I actually posted anything useful... I don't plan to change that now : ) just a little frustrated. I'll preface with, I legitimately suffer from OCD. I recently started another tank after a 10 year hiatus and decided to do a BBT. My frustration stems from the constant barrage of (you guessed it) The white sh!t that accumulates overnight on the glass bottom.
I triple bucket rinsed my rock which I had be cycling for 1.5 years (did I mention OCD) and turkey baste my rocks off everyday. I have A Lot LOT of flow that picks up whatever I don't syphon off the bottom. The accumulation happens while the pumps are in night mode and everything slows down a bit. Just where the heck is this all coming from? 2 clowns 6 line and blue hippo, various crabs and snails. Not remotely enough to produce what I'm cleaning...
