hey,
do you any pix of your tank and typeR(rsx) would love to see some pix of the motor and your settup..i never seen a 10s RSX before..

kase..:)

10sec RSX.... what serious mods do you have done?? i know of a supercharged, and a twin turbo S2000(2 different cars) that are not even running in the 10's not even in the low 12's.. not doubting you just wondering.. i personally have had a Buick Grand National, 2 older camaros, 57 Pontaic Cheifton.. also have a buddy that has a 2000 C5 that ran 10's, he also had a TT Stealth (JDM) that ran around the same times as the vette..

type r motor from japan, fully build N/A,400+whp, low 10's w/slick and mid 10's with street tires. that all i know about his car. waiting to see it.

the term(jdm) and stealth(dodge)/3kgt(mitts) doesn't match..jdm= tt 3k gto(awd, right hand drive.) VERY RARE car as of late 90's ford bought 3/4 of the company and move to usa. so nore jdm 3k out there. unless it's 94-96 and down it might be build in japan.

ok getting tech. here, yes it was a GTO swap(conversion), motor came from Japan.. clipped a ported 9B's.. and other various upgrades, apexiN1 exhaust, BOV, upgraded intercooler.. more stuff but i dont know everything he did to this car.. he took it to the street races in Philly.. all i know is that the car was insanely fast.. his vette had, C5R exhaust, racing heads, cam, and other various upgrades..unsure of all things done to either of these cars..

it hard to say (JDM) swap into a car that made by dodge...
imo a 3k gt is one of the worst car to street racer due to wieght, the car alone is 4,500k lbs.. you need a big power plant to move that thing... not saying that your buddy's car is slow or nothing..

twin turbo S2000 is this car yellow and around 104w(w. ridge area)?

Hmmm

Hmmm

So...

This is a 10-sec FWD car? I'd be rather interested in seeing a timeslip... And this guy's gotta have arms like Popeye to handle to torque-steer.

No offense; I'm a bit of a car guy. 10's seem a little doubtful with 400whp in an emmissions controlled, CV-shaft driven, unibody car, regardless of aspiration, and I've worked on a very, very, very high-dollar Civic, with all Japanese cryro-treated motor, a $20K head job, a turbo and more go-fast bits than you could imagine.
We squeezed 12's out at Leicester. And we were quite happy. Fastest FWD car there.

Not doubtful. Just cautiously pessimistic, I'd be really, really, really interested in the chassis dynamics, your 60 and 500ft times, and how he got a McPherson Strut front to hook that hard.... I've raced, and beaten, a lot of "10-second 1/4 mile cars" with my honest, documented, high 12-Second, serious, on radials, street car....

i agree with i just ask to see what done, i know how hard it is to get ANY car down to 10's fwd or rwd. i not knocking anyone. i would like to see the settup. the only civic that i seen in person that ran anthing close to 10's was a good friend turbo k20 eg hatch. we was up in NJ racing at nopi or darknight and the car got BOOSTed from the telli parking lot.

but it was running mid 11. the track kicked us out after 1 past. for not have eoungh safty gear in the car and driver.

Kase-

Funny you should mention that.. I was asked to leave ESTA (Syracuse) for the same thing. The Civic is a buddy's, I only have 1 Japanese car, it's my daily driver, a Maxima. I'm not really "into" tuner cars; I respect them, just not my thing.

I've got a ragtop for a toy/summer car (a '63 Impala Conv- 409/425hp, modified greatly after that); IHRA/NHRA mandates a cage under 13.00; I have a timeslip for 12.97, got told "Great run; get the F$#%!@$ car off the track... " :) My best was 12.87, on a cool morning, opening day at Leicester last year.. Again, booted. :)

But that's with a 3600lb car, and a LARGE displacement motor, and a whole lotta $$ in the driveline.. :) If this car is in NY, I'd love to see it at a Track, even an 1/8th like Lancaster here in NY.

NO ...i wish he still had it, but a JACK A$$ had too(steal) boosted...it was one of the first K20 swamp into a eg hatch.. i'm all for replacement over displacement...i highly RESPECT the V8 boyz..
it crazy how they take you money let you run once and kick us out.. but i understand why..safty..they say we not playing it safe.13's down need roll cage.14's need helmet..10's too much money( tube chassis and frame fire..etc..)..:)
eg hatch=1700-2000 lbs+ 250+whp=12's easy..

lighter cars w/bigger motor= speed for less cash..bang for the buck..
all in i love CARS.....anything i love how they tick...

motor cross are for FAST driver, 1/4 runs are for FAST cars....
fast car+ fast drive= fun and a good day at the track.
