I just started stocking my 500Ltr tank a couple of weeks ago with three Banggai Cardinals.

I had to travel for 10 days and left the wife in charge of feeding the fish.

Before i left there was one of the three that appears to be not eating and kept to himself.

However on my return i find there are only two left in the tank.

My scaping is minimal and i left up every rock and cant find anything.

I tested for ammonia and there is no traces of any spikes.
My tank has Euro bracing so i assume it would make it hard for them to jump out (if thats what they do?)

Would the other carindals have really eaten it completely?

Bristle worms make quick work of the dead as well. They don't like light and hide in the rock crevices so you might even know you have any but chances are you do.

Two males one female lesser one killed? I had three and one disappeared. Not long after mine bred and we had lots of em
