Bought these awhile back but there are some polyps mixed in and they are stinging the zoas. How do I weed out the stinger? Thanks for the help saitoking

The stingers are Protopalythoa spp.
You need to scrape their bases with a sharp knife to remove them off the rock.
Make sure all the tissue is removed. Protect yourself with gloves, goggles and close your mouth!!
Glue them in an individual rock. They won't bother anymore.

Yep, they will grow a new colony. Just keep them in their own rock.
They also love to eat dry coral pellets and also like strong light.

Thanks for all the info I have been converting FOWLR to invert , polyps, soft corals can use all the help I can get. My 120gal tank has been up for 18 years but has only had live rock and fish. I had to trade some of the fish, seemed to be picking at everything, even my clown an damsels which are in my sump now started picking. I do have a colony of Protopalythoa they are to the lelf in the picture. Thanks again saitoking
