Thinking about an Anemone

My tank has been up for a year and I have stable parameters. I'm keeping both LPS and SPS with success and seeing good growth. At this point I was thinking about an Anemone, but I'm still on the fence.

I only have one tank raised Clownfish (Black Onyx Snowflake) because I lost my female a few months ago to what is still an unexplained death. The other inhabitants are a Bristletooth tang, Skunk Cleaner shrimp and 2 Banggai Cardinals.

What would be the best Anemone to purchase to ensure the best success of my clown actually using the Anemone? I don't want anything too big because my tank is only a 55g, but I want something big enough that it can take the abuse of the clown should it decided it wants to live in the Anemone.

Flow is provided by 2 x MP10wES Vortech pumps.

A few things to think about.

You should order/get the foam covers for those power heads. (even if you have the ones that came with it, get a few more)

I know you say that you want something not to big. How is your rock work? This will help figure out what you are looking for too. Some anemones will stretch out ALL the way and if it touches something that it 'thinks' will help it get higher... it will use it.

An RBTA is not a bad starter anemone.

Do you have a QT? It might be a good idea to QT it for a few days and also be able to make it into a HT. Shipping on these guys/gals has taken a large toll on their survival rate.

I have the ones that came with the power heads, but I can certainty order more.

My rock work is terrible. :o There isn't anything wrong with it, other than the fact that I'm not a fan of how I laid it out. Oh well, I'm fix that in a few years when the wife and I buy a new house and I get to upgrade!! :celeb2:

Here is an older picture. Corals have been moved since the picture was taken. I'm not sure why I can't directly embed to the picture anymore? Anyway,

I do actually. I have two 20g Longs that I can use as either QT or HT. The only issue is that I just have a cheap fluorescent fixture like this one for lighting. I'm assuming that would have to be upgraded? I never bought anything expensive because I don't QT coral and only use it for fish.
