Thinking about heading to deep reef on flagler st... anyone wanna join?

Im gonna head over there in a bit and wanted to see if anyone wanted to meetup? They got some stock in today and should be receiving more within the hour. Call my cell and post here and we can coordinate it. It would be nice to meet some of you guys.

i went at 5:00 pm and was told to come back in an hour. that the hawaii shipment would be in then.

Well, I must say wow.... They got in some gorgeous wrasses (i bought a ruby _____ wrasse but i cant remember the middle word). They got in some sweet tangs, angels, anglers, etc. Rogger, Carlos, and Rey were there and it was nice to meet some of the guys on here. Maybe Rogger can jump in with the tech names for many of the specimens. Carlos, what did you end up with??


For those who havent been to the store... The prices, selection of exotics, and service are all excellent and they hook up members with a little discount also.

Carlos ended up getting things he shouldn't have gotten. A flame angel, a potters angel, a christmas wrasse and a solar fairy wrasse. Hope my corals like the angels.

nice... did you get that wrasse with the yellow face? or a flasher like the one rey was getting? That xmas wrasse was gonna be mine but i liked this one too much and i promised the significant other only 1 fish!

yours is Cirrhilabrus Solorensis

I don't know if your corals will like your angels but I am pretty sure that your angels will LOVE your corals

Rogger, the ruby is up against the base of some rock barely moving (kinda wedged along a hole in the rock).... im guessing this is normal for the first day or so. Should i be at all concerned? Will it take a long time for him to come out?

Eddie is perfectly normal for that fish to take 1 to 1.5 day to feel comfortable, once it does he will be out all day, you may even attempt to hand feed them they become very bold.

In all fairness to mua, I did tell him not once but twice that those were not the fishes to get but then I turned around and he said "pack them" I am not going to argue, look at his teeth!

He had potters leopard wrasses, Rhomboidalis (super and normal), Barlett anthias, Bi color anthias, Mysterii wrasse, Banded angel, Achilles, and other fish I cant remember right now.

I picked up an unidentified anthia, a McCosker flasher and filament flasher wrasse.

Congrats on the Rubi Eddy and we ALL told you so Carlos!! ALL OF US!!

To those absent, let me tell you it was a feeding frenzy and all these guys were sharks circling the acclimation containers. Carlos-Great White, Rogger-Tiger, Ray-Black Tip, Jaime-Sneaky Hammerhead.
