Are sexy shrimp supposed to release their eggs before they molt? Today the lights in the tank went out for some reason, I turned them back on and saw my female just finished molting. Then the smaller one tried to jump on her, I'm guessing to get her pregnant, but she ran away.
Should the egg release have been before the molt? Or after? If she isn't pregnant and just fat, can teh other one thats half her size get her pregnant? Thanks!
