Thinking big...glass

I am thinking about an 96 x 60 x 30" (k/w/h) tank.... Eurobracing..... Does anyone make 1" low iron glass" or do you think 3/4" thick would be enough?

My 60x60x30 cube is 3/4" and eurobraced. PPG used to make starphire in 1", not sure if they do any longer.

Looks like PPG just has 5/8" and 3/4" available in the starphire series:

How many have a 96" X 30" tank in l X h that uses 3/4"?

I think mine is 3/4 from glass cages. The 2 viewable panels are low iron. 96l x 30w x 25h

96 x 28 3/4. Not Starphire, but is euro braced.

im in the early planning stages of a big tank that would be of a similar size. im not sure i would feel safe with 3/4 on a 30 inch deep tank with that length. i was planning on having mine made on site with a steel frame. as an aside did you do your residency in chicago a couple years ago, and if so where? i did my residency at cook county back in the 90s.

My tanks are 96x30x30 euro-braced and 60x60x30 euro-braced, both are 3/4" float glass.

84"x 48" x 28" braceless, uses 19mm low iron glass for sides and 2x 19mm glass on bottom.
