Thinking of getting an open brain.

I am finally getting my work tank setup again after a small set back (http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2130331). I have been eyeing open brain corals, but don't know a whole lot about them. I want to get something small and let it grow in my tank. If it were to get too big I would frag it if possible or move it home to the 250. I am looking for something that will really pop under AI nano LED's. Any thoughts or opinions? I likely will have to buy online since the local stores don't seem to carry anything small.

Mine puffs up much better in low flow and has more color on the sand bed. They can be on rocks but since they can inflate quite a bit, you'll want to keep it from sharp edges. They won't get cut by just growing into something sharp but they won't fully expand either. Mine also like a weekly feeding of mysis.

What variety do you have?
