I've been considering trading my tank all day and wanted to see if anyone would be interested. I've got a 46 Bow w/black stand that is 6 months old now. no leaks works great! but, I'd like to go back to a "normal" non-bow tank. something between a 50 and a 75g would be nice. i dont like the shape of 55's so thats not a possibility. PM me if your interested!

46g AGA bowfront w/black stand and striplight/glass tops

want - 50/75+ tank w/stand glass or acril..

Note** there is some coralline on the back glass of this that i will remove so it will be a nice clean tank.
there is nothing wrong with this tank/stand i just want something that is more flexable to work with.

somehow i dont think this is going to work. not suprisingly. unless someone has a tank in their garage or basement they want to get rid of to get more space.

lets get down to brass tacks.

my main concern with the 46 bow is that i dont have room to put a sump under it. and frankly this is the first tank i've had sumpless and its driving me nuts. i dont like looking at all the equipment in the tank i'd rather it be hidden in the sump. not to mention all the other benifits. anyone have any ideas? cant go hang on back and i'm limited on space. the 46's stand has a center area i could place one but it would have to be a vertical sump and frankly i'm not sure that would work.

Yeah, I have a 72 bow and the sump was smaller than what I wanted...Rather than going a whole different direction, what about having someone build a custom sump? You could easily get a nice sized one...I was thinking about doing the same thing and also doing a 2nd one to use for my top off water because all I have room for is a 5 gallon bucket

i considered just building a square stand for it but the wife says I'm easily distracted from projects like that.. seems beer and TV seem to inhibit my ability to get things like that done.

that and if i do that i'll have to build a new canopy and ect..
apparently i'm not to good at judging cost's of things so i'm told. guess, all the "but baby a saltwater tank wont cost that much" or "i'm only going to spend like $20.00" when i come back with $100.00 of stuff. she's caught on to me.
