I want to try some different kind of phosphate media. I have been using generic GFO from my LFS, and now I want to give Seachem SeaGel a try. What is your opinion of this product?

I switched from GFO to a phosphate reducing resin (Blue Life PHOS Fx) a year ago and I prefer it to GFO. It is less expensive to use (it can be regenerated in hot saltwater up to 6 times) and I get less calcium precipitation than I did with GFO.

You can get it from Drs. Foster and Smith, Amazon or direct from Blue Life. Run a Google search, there are numerous sources.

I've been using PhosBan also with great results! Really easy to replace.
