this betta werk! lol

I need to come over sometime and check out your tank. Trouble is finding the time to do so. Looks nice from what I can see though.

Those long spine urchins can be a PITA can't they? Tom has one.

lol yea damn your good!!! yea and they are splitting like crazy it had 6 now i have like 10 or 11 and most still have 2 or 3 mouths

I was goign to say you have a lot of those. lol Must have a healthy tank to get growth like that. Try your hand at fragging any of them?

i have fragged other mushrooms but not the rics i heard they are not as hardy so i guess im a lil nervous but if you have done it nd would like to i will give you a free one. i would love to have them all over my tank!!

I was about to say that about the urchins earlier. They are good a eating algae, but often they take the algae you want and ***** you in the finger. I haven't yet cut up a ric yet. Like you I have done regular mushrooms before.

I've read the same that they don't take to it as well and you can't cut them up as much. I was going to try just cutting the one I have off at the foot and moving it so I get two. If both survive that I may cut one of them up further to see how it goes. From what I have read different rics can take different levels of dividing and the yumas(sp?), and the expensive ones typically can't handle it as much.

I have one single ric that I plan on cutting because it already have 3+ eyes on it, but just haven't had the time recently to get in there and do it.

When I come over I'll have to bring my fragging kit and a little piece of rock. I bought a little tiny plastic tool box last time I was at the dollar store to throw all my fragging things in. I always keep a couple things on hand including, Dollar store glue, a couple sizes of netting, plugs, discs, rubber bands, razor blades and few other things.

What I am really hoping I can get soon is a nice wet tile saw. :-D Then I can do some serious fragging.

I've got a cup coral that is cutting huge. I want to just take a little tiny bit of it off so I can grow a second one to take cuttings from. That's about the only hard coral I have besides some candy canes and an acro which are way to small at this point.

Too many softies in too close a space to deal with many hard corals.
