A vessel containing Copper concentrate ran aground off the coast of Chile yesterday. I'm not sure how much if any Cu spilled out into the water, but it's a little concerning nonetheless.

Yes. Big difference between 90 gallons and a beach. I imagine some inverts in the area are ****ed though.

The Humboldt Current which runs in that area is pretty strong, so dissapation should take place pretty quick.

you are probably right though, the immidiate area is going to most likely have a large ammount of crustacean death
