Been cycling a 29g tank for about six weeks now... so far, so good.. added a few corals and CUC... not fish.... everything seems to be going well... lots of good critters coming from the live rock, but I think this "Critter" is probably not welcome. Need some help identifying this critter and how to get rid of it would be appreciated. I found two of these... just in the last few days. They just look Nasty.

aiptasia. I don't know the best way to get rid of them there a lot of different ways do a search and you will see.

Aiptasia. Fill a syringe with boiling water and give him his medicine. Kalk paste administered by syringe also works well.

Peppermint shrimp eat them. I always had good luck with them in a previous tank. Others haven't had as much luck but they are relatively cheap.

Thanks... I will work on getting it out of the tank... now that I know what it is, I can get rid of it. Again, thanks for the reply's.

killed my first one just like that the other day. Worked like a charm. Two syringes of boiling water directly on it, then pulled back on the syringe and it sucked it right up.
