I think you're lucky to be on the west coast there....

I does affect us here....we will start getting rain bands in a few hours...but those folks on the eastern seaboard need to get their generators out and hang on!

Everybody be safe up there....best to evacuate..if they advise you to...take it from somebody who lives in hurricane alley ......the storm is 1000 miles from here, yet we are getting gusts up to 30MPH...and the seas on my aquaculture site are 11.6 foot this morning!!

Really is amazing how large this storm is.....

Bottom line is....be safe, be ready for no power, and evacuate if they tell you to!

How'd things end up now that the storm has passed?
 
started with a tbs tank in 2005. i had 3 reef tanks, all tbs. unfortunatly, i live on the bay here on long island. sandy took it all. but it was a good run while it lasted!
