This is a good reason to check your salt bucket!!

Nate had told me about this problem when I was complaining about my water change buckets being contaminated. He said he had a bad bucket once, and thats what it sounded like I had. I Emailed the Instant Ocean guys and they arranged a pick up and sent me a new bucket of salt. they were supposed to test it but, I never found out if they did or not.

I suspected something was wrong with my salt but I am not sure. I ended up buying a new bucket just incase it was. I was also having problems with my RO/DI system and my skimmer at the same time so I really don’t know what the cause of my grief was. I don’t think the problem I was having is the same as one that was being described in that thread.
