If you feed it heavily and provide excellent conditions, you may get faster growth than that, but probably not a lot more. These are s-l-o-w

Acanthastrea is fast. Caulastrea, Euphyllia and Tubastrea are pretty quick too.

i had a similar faviid grow 1" in 6 months. i ahd a maze brain do the same. must be different tank conditions. all my lps do great.
