I just had the same thing happen on a mushroom that I purchased from the LFS. Once I noticed them (about a day after I put them in the tank) I did a freshwater dip on the shrooms and the flatworms fell right off. They mushrooms seem unharmed and have opened up quite nicely. Maybe not the "right" way to do it, but it worked.
