Well, looks like the algae just won't go away, so I'm gonna have to part with the Trigger. So I'm trying to get some ideas for a stock list for my 75 gallon once the Trigger is gone....

Clownfish
Lawnmower Blenny
Flame Angel
Yellow Tang
Tons of Snails
Tons of Crabs

Any other Ideas? What else could work?

Thanks!!

I'm guessing others know what's going on but I don't so I'll just ask the standard questions. What kind of algae? Water parameters? What else is in the tank? Lighting period?

I fighting off Hair Algae and Red Hair Algae.... Its on my rocks and on the substrate. I do a 20gal. water change every weekend (RO/DI). The only thing in the tank is a 5" Humu Trigger and some little damsels. Lights come on at 3pm and go off 11pm....

All water parameters are normal...

Reduce feeding, incorporate a fuge, make damn sure your RODI water is good before further water changes and topoff.

Just a few ideas...how old is the tank?

You using a good nitrate and phosphate test kit? I like Lamotte for nitrate and phosphate.

The tank is a little over a year old now. I do have a sump w/ a fuge. And the RODI unit just recently got all new filters and cartridges....
