Thomas Research dimmable drivers

I just got the 150W inventronics driver in the mail today. I'm using to run 60 total xpe's. PM me if you want to know where to buy them. I am not sure why people are making a huge deal about the voltage and using the meanwells over these. Are you checking to make sure they work by licking your fingering and touching the hot wires?? haha I thought it was kind of common sense not to touch electricity. Who knows, maybe I am just weird.

It's not about using one over the other. I just think it's important people are aware of the issue so they can consider it when making their choice. For instance I am aware of the risks and am choosing to use the meanwells. You are aware of the risks and are choosing to use the TR ones. That's cool.

It's just that in a hobby involving salt water of all things, high voltage is an interesting ingredient to throw in the mix. So I feel it's responsible to call it out when recommending these drivers to people of unknown skill levels. Tons of random people will be reading these forums.
