Thornback Cowfish

I've been thinking about getting a cowfish, and after some research it appears that the thornback is more suitable for my aquarium (160 gal) than the longhorn. Unfortunately it seems that the thornback is rarely available. I'm curious if this is something that can be special ordered or anything like that.

Thanks for the question. Tornbacks are indeed a good choice and yes they are not available all the time. They only come over in very small numbers and typically sell to people with special requests. What you can do is call us and we can arrange one to come in for you. It may take a couple of weeks but you would be assured of getting one. We will be closed through the 4th but feel free to call then.
