Thors 450 Build Thread!!!!!!!

Nice that thing is bulletproof! If you remember Eric that came with me to your house that day...he just setup a 90g reef. He is hooked now. I'm sure it won't be long until he sets up a 8 footer too.

Of course I remember him, you two have been the only ones that really enjoyed seeing my tank. Love your tank build. That stand you got from mflamb looks sick!!!!
the 90 will last 6months to a year. Tell him to start a tank fund on the side.

Hey Thor,
I am considering adding a Purple tang... I already have a Naso, Orange Shoulder, Saildin, D. Sailfin and a Hippo. Most are about 4-6" in size now. Has your purple tang been aggressive towards your other tangs? If so which ones? Thanks!

What the heck do I not count I enjoy seeing your fish tank!!!

hey pike614 I must have a rare purple tang, because he is so laid back and doesent mess with anyone. I even have 4 other zebra's in there with him. I dont see much of a problem with the group you have. Just make sure and if possible add if at night and keep the lights off for a day or two. Also make sure and keep them feed while they all get to know each other. Let me know how it goes.
No jason you never count since I can't COUNT on you on the cornhole court!

sounds good. I think I'm rolling the dice by adding a Purple, Powder Blue and Powder brown, and a Yellow to the group all at once....we'll see!

hey thanks big tuna!!!
pike are you going to QT those guys at all? I never tried PBT or powder brown with their history of being territorial and their diease attraction.

hey Thor, not sure about the QT yet....it'd need to be a big QT set-up to house that many tangs....I have had a Powder Blue and he wasn't too bad in terms of territorial (he was in a 75g!) I've heard stories though...and don't want a bully in the tank. I had an amazing clown tang in the 450, too bad he was such a bully. I caught him and sold him to a local reefer.

Great looking tank, stand, and fish. Its amazing to see so many tangs co-existing. By the way I am in love with the orange shoulder.
