I do not post much, but I read everything on this forum. You all have helped me a lot and I am sure that my fish appreciate that.

I thought that I would share some pics of my fish.

This was my first fish. He is about 1.5 inches now. I got him when he was a little over .75 about a year ago.

My second fish. Got him when he was about an inch and he is at a little more than 2 now.

Got him at about 2 inches and he is not about 3.

Like the clown fish, this little 3 stripe was really small. He has doubled his size so far.

This is my newest addition (today). I am hoping that he will help eat some of that algae on the rocks.

I also have a domino damsel, but I never can get good pictures of it since he zips around the tank all day long.

Enjoy.

i was just gonna say that tang don't look healthy that whitness looks like velvet or some other bactria but other wise the fish look sweet. you have a full tank shot?

The LFS has had him for about 3 weeks. They had 2 others in the tank with him as well. Should I do anything to help him? I have not yet had a sick fish in the year that this tank has been up.

This is an old shot of my tank when it was first started. I do have some more recent ones, but I cannot locate them on my machine.

think it was just the angle and maybe flash. It looks healthy and happy to me!! I got a purple tang for the same reason. Cleaned my tank of what must have been 5 pounds of grape caulerpa in about a week.

He is swimmig around happy as could be. I was surprised also when I first dropped him in the tank, he went right for one of the rocks and started picking at it.

Jonbro6956: Tang`s some times change coler. I have the same one , get`s lighter at knight. just keep an eye on him, heil be fine.

UPDATE

I started feeding my fish more of a variety of foods and they seem to enjoy it more now. I have been feeding them all broccoli every other day and the yellow tang's whiteness is disappearing. So I guess this confirms that he has HLLE. He still has a little white discoloring above his left eye

Here are a new shot of my tank.

This was taken this morning. I was up until 1 AM changing out my closed loop pump, adding some new live rock, and cleaning off my old live rock.

So glad he is getting more vegetation. I'd try Nori on a clip as well if you haven't yet done so.

Get yourself some Nori at your local asian market. I can pick up 100 sheets for under 10 bucks. It looks like the coloration on your tang is just from using the flash on your camera. Try taking some more pics with the flash off. The coloration could also be from stress. Those damsels can be very territorial and might be bugging the tang. I noticed a bit of nipping done on his fins. I'd keep an eye on that. ;)

In the last pic of the tang where you can see the highest contrast in his color is exactly how he looked like at home when I took that picture. I will get some new pics of the tang tonight so you all can see the difference.

Will the other fish eat the Nori as well? All of them except for my yellow tail love the broccoli, especially my domino damsel.

Can you share a link with pictures of Tangs healness?, I have a Naso that have something in the skin.

Thanks.

Glad to see that ur tangs getting better. I'm not sure if it's me or the camera angle but your clown in the 1st pic looks like he could use a little fattening up too.

You dont have any problems with the damsels? I have two domino's in my tank and I was going to remove them before I added some nice fish but If I can get away with them not being a bully I'll just leave them in there.
